True Quad Core Power By Cameron Eittreim on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Building a true Quad-Core computer can be quite the task, while building computers for people I try to find them the best value and performance. The AMD Phenom 9600 Processor is just that type of value, featuring performance on par with Intel extreme processors for half the price. When I installed this Processor I have to admit that my computer ran like a dream. This Quad-Core processor blazed through Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Photoshop CS3. I also pushed this processor to the limits running Adobe Premier CS3 which ran like a Champ.

Render times of Digital media is also great using this Processor, I've seen a 50% percent Improvement in productivity using this CPU then using a Intel CPU. One of this Monster processors main advantages is it's 4MB L2 Cache, and this is a very power eficiant CPU using only 95 Watts.

Overall, digital media is becoming more and more a part of our lives. And Quad-Core computing is here to help us perform these tasks more efficiantly.
