True Temper Wheelbarrow By dsnygrl on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
For my birthday last year my daughter asked me what I wanted as a gift. I really did not need anything speacial so I went for something that would be useful instead and I asked for a wheelbarrow. She looked at me a little funny and asked if I was sure but she said OK. He father is an avid do it yourselfer so I knew this would be up his alley so the next weekend we went wheelbarrow shopping. After looking at several stores we decided on the 6 cubic foot poly wheelbarrow made by Siver max. I choose this one for several reasons. One was the price. At only $55.00 it did not break the bank. It was also a good size for myself and the kids to handle. I have had larger ones in the past and with them you tend to fill them to the top and then they are just to heavy and unstable for a smaller person to handle. I also liked the fact that this one was made of plastic and not metal so that it would not rust. The last feature that really sold us was the steel handles. When my ex and I were married, I left our old wooden handled wheelbarrow out for a week in bad weather. The handles warped and cracked as a result and he never let me forget it. No problems with this one there. It has seen many yard projects in the last few months and with a rinse off here and there still looks new.

I have the same one, great product - the only issue after a few years of use the tire needs to be replaced or blown up. V:)
My last wheelbarrow broke recently; it has a big gash in the bottom. Looks like this one is more durable.
