Tula Hats For Any Occasion By JPnMO on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With skin cancer on the rise and the dangers of too much sun becoming more apparent, many of us are wearing hats when we go outdoors. Whether you are gardening, walking, or just relaxing, there is a Tula hat for you.

Tula makes hand-woven palm hats. They are high quality and come in many different styles. The picture I've attached shows just 3 of them. The hats come in different sizes and your choice of mens, womens, unisex and also children's sizes. Western, visors, fedora, gardening and even a child's cowboy hat are just some of the choices available. They also carry a line called "Casual Elegance" which is more dressy, but still has the Tula qualty.

My husband has had skin cancer several times and wears a hat any time he is outoors. His rodeo style wide-brimmed hat gives him the protection he needs. He even packs it when we go on vacation. His face, neck and ears are well protected from the sun, though sun screen is still a requirement.

There are cheaper versions of the Tula hats, but none that I've found that are as well made.

The store where I found these is no longer in business, but they are available online at various businesses or check the Tula website at: http://tula.cameoez.com/ for more information.

Hats are very important in Florida because of the constant sunshine. I have many.
