Tumba Tumba Review By Nathaniel Tran on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Tumba is one of those games that is pretty much fun anytime. Whenever there is nothing else to do, Tumba always comes through with tense moments and friendly competition.

Tumba is a wooden block game, similar to Jenga but different enough to warrant its purchase. Instead of taking blocks out of the tower and stacking them on top of the tower, you pick a random block out of a bag with 5 different colors in a random order and you have to build upon the tower, stacking only like-colors.

Tumba incorporates a team-effort mindset because for most people the goal in the game is not to make other people lose, but instead build the most magnificent Tumba tower in history. My favorite way to play Tumba is to have teams of two compete against each other to build the tower with the most number of blocks without making it fall over.

I think that this game has universal appeal for more mature audiences, having all the tension of Jenga, but requiring more thought and consideration before making your moves.

Love games like this. This sounds like a lot of fun and like the idea of two teams. My family would have a riot with this. Thanks
