Tums Smoothies Extra Strength Antacid & Calcium Supplement in the Cocoa & Creme flavor taste awesome. These are pretty good for controlling heartburn. I have a problem with eating spicy food and things high in acid, so I'm always looking for a good antacid. With these I take two tablets and wait about 15 minutes. Sometimes the heartburn is relieved and sometimes I have to take another dose to get relief. I wish one dose worked every time, but that is just not the case. I do like the flavor a lot. It is nice to taste the chocolate smoothy flavor as opposed to other more chalky flavors of some products. An average size bottle of tums can last me anywhere from a couple of months to six months depending on how often I get the symptoms. These are also a calcium suppliment, which is nice. You get the extra added benefit of getting some of you daily calcium requirement just from taking these tums.
