Tupperware's Oniontomato Keeper By jenna2004 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A few months ago I ordered an onion/tomato keeper from Tupperware. I am extremely disappointed with the results of this product. Their products are expensive. I expected better quality and results. I use onion all the time when I cook. If I had any left over onion before I would store it in a Ziploc bag. I thought these would be great. They claim to keep your onion fresher longer. However it was a big flop! My onion would become partially unusable after a day or two. The only feature that really was nice was the fact that you are able to hang it off of the fridge shelving. The overall appearance of the container was also a big hit. As far as wasting your money buying the product, I don't recommend doing so. You really would be wasting your money on this product. A Ziploc bag has worked well for years. It looks like I'm going to continue using a bag until something better comes along. I haven't tried it using a tomato yet. My mom has though and has had about the same results. If you're thinking about buying a set of these from Tupperware think twice.

Their product quality isn't at all what it use to be...I buy from Rubbermaid and such now, much less expensive and does a better job in most cases. Thanks for the info...
