Turbo Jam Punch Kick And Jam By Phoebe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Beachbody's Turbo Jam program adds Punch, Kick, and Jam (PKJ) to it's lineup. I rec'd this workout as part of a set, which is why the price is so high. It is a 50 minute routine.

It is a very good cardio workout with interval training - you slowly ramp up your heart rate in one section, than bring it back down in the next to maximize calories burned.

This workout uses optional hand weights which really intensify the workout, and it ends wth a 6 minute strength section using exercise tubing (but the weights and tubing a re not required).

This is one of my favorite workout videos, as it is a little less "dancing around" than other cardio workouts I have tried. It is more repetitive, which makes it easy to learn and follow along with even as a beginner. It includes standing ab work, so it is a total body workout.

The trainer, Chalene Johnson, is high energy without being too bubbly or irritating - she keeps you pumped up and ready to do that next set of punches and kicks!

My only complaint is the sound level seems lower than other DVDs I have, so I have to remember to turn the volume UP when I workout with this DVD, andback DOWN before I watch anything else! But that is a very minor complaint.

All in all, a great workout DVD to get your heart pumping, your feet jumping, and blasting calories!
