Turns my eyelids into pretty snowflakes

BFTE came out with a limited edition mineral set for Halloween, less than 50 were made. I wanted it so bad, so I contacted them and asked if I could get some samples to review. I asked for whatever they could spare. Even if it was 1 or 2 of the 5 shades, I would be happy.

Lo' and behold, I got samples of all 5 colors. I was so thrilled at their generosity. The Halloween set came in 5 mL jars.The samples came in mini zip up bags. I don't love these baggies; I don't hate them either. That's the only reason I rated the packaging low.

One shade I have used a lot of lately is Full Moon. I've been playing with it to enter a makeup contest for Halloween and also to review it. It is a very frosty, very shimmery shade of pure white. Personally, I don't find this shade super wearable in "the real world." When I put it on my lids, it's like, "Wapow! Not a quiet color." Also, it's not a color I'd put on my brow bones to highlight, since it is so sparkly and stark white. It is very pigmented. What it is good for is for dramatic looks. I think it's great for Halloween. I think it was a great addition to the limited edition set. When I wear it, I feel like I'm not myself. I feel like a showgirl. I think it's because of all the sparkle and frost.
