Twenty Wishes is written by Debbie Macomber. It is part of the series Shop on Blossom Street. This story takes a little different turn. You will still find some of the characters that you are used to with the other three books however this book takes an opportunity to introduce to you to several others that are part of Blossom Street.

The story is about Anne Marie Roche who owns the book shop across from Susannah's Garden and A Good Yarn. She becomes a widow three years earlier and when her husband whom she was separated with but has just started reconciliation passes away from a heart attack. All she wants is happiness again. She finds herself at thirty years old childless, a recent widow, and alone.

On Valentine's Day several other Widows get together to celebrate... what? They aren't sure. They all want hope, possibility, happiness, maybe a future so they each put together twenty wishes.

As Ann Marie starts hers, she finds it hard not only to keep to her wishes but also to accept them. One of her wishes however is to become a lunch buddy with a child from school. What she finds in this child? You will have to read it to find out.

This is a heart felt story about a person who so much wants to become a mother but doesn't see it ever happening until one day... I loved this story and I would recommend this to anyone that loves to read.
