Twilight-Stephanie Meyers
By Rae777 onI was looking for a new author to try when a relative suggested Stephanie Meyer and her series about vampires and gave me the book. I decided to try her first book in the series titled Twilight. Its the story of a teenager her moves to Washington to live with her father. Once there she meets new friends including a family of fairly peaceful vampires who attend her school. She falls in love with one vampire named Edward which causes all kinds of problems and dangers for her, her family, Edward and his family especially when some very bad vampires arrive in town.
I was surprised at the length of the book as it is very long. However, this book is written with lots of action so as to be a page turner and keep the readers interest. They are written at a level so that teenagers and adults alike will enjoy them.
I enjoyed the book. It kept my interest and made me want to read the next book in the series titled New Moon.
A very fast paced book that will keep most readers turning pages!

I had a hard time for the first half of the book and then it picked up. The second, third, and fourth were better. I also saw the movie and LOVED it!
I feel they rushed the movie to the theaters. There was no character development and not as rich in detail as the book. Maybe that's the way it always is -the book is going to be better.lol.
