I don't buy a lot of candy. My family doesn't need it and it's expensive! Walgreens had a great sale recently on Twizzlers and since we were headed for the beach, I decided to treat my family and buy some on sale. I forgot how much I really enjoy the flavor of Twizzlers! They are actually rather low in fat and not bad for calories. 140 calories per serving and the serving isn't a bad size.
The kids and I really enjoyed these on vacation. We had a couple of days when the temperature was over 100 degrees but the nice thing about Twizzlers is that they don't melt! The bite sized pieced that I purchased were just the right size for a bit of sugar during the day and evening. They especially came in handy on the ferry boat ride that we took one day when it was quite hot. We enjoyed munching on Twizzlers!

Love twizzlers! Have you tried the fruit flavored ones? They have them at Walgreen's here. The bag has mixed flavors such as orange, lemon, lime and grape. Yummy!
