Two Bite Brownies Made Me Bite Too Much! By Sparkle333 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Chocolate--what woman doesn't love it? Sometimes I just crave it, and then I'm like a mad woman, with no self-control. I bought this box of so-called "Two-Bite Brownies" and I just kept on biting until the whole darn thing was gone. I guess you could say that they tasted pretty good! (Almost like home made.) They are not iced, but they are quite rich. They are in fact, about the size of two bites, but I just couldn't stop. Perhaps it's just as well, because maybe now, I won't crave chocolate so much, after this ridiculous binge.

Now for the bad news--they are high in calories, fat, and sugar. Does this mean that I have already broken my New Year's resolution? (Afraid so.) Okay--they do have some protein, calcium, and iron. (So they qualify as a food group, right?) Are you laughing yet? (I thought so.)

To tell you the truth, they were a little dry, and I really would have preferred fudge. But you know what they say...If you can't be with the one you love...love the one you're with. (Unfortunately, I did.)

I'm allergic to chocolate - get migraines just smelling the stuff but can I just say these are sooo worth a headache now and then...delicious!! Thanks for the info

ooops didn't finish that comment - I've only had one bag of these that were ugh - they were thrown in with a dinner we purchased from KFC (old? Stale?) but when I've purchased them at a dept store I've found them to be quite fresh and very much like the ones my daughter loves to make - I've stayed away from the "day old" aisle though when it comes to these - I find you have to eat the whole bag in one sitting because if you don't air gets into the bag and well....there you have it - stale, ugh brownies :) That's my excuse and so far the family has fallen for it - well, at least I think so - they still run to get me headache pills when I make that mistake ;)
