Two Led Book Light By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My mother-in-law gave me a 2 LED Book Light from Barnes and Noble for Valentine's Day. She knows what an avid reader I am and thought that this would be something I could really use. This light is the type that can be either clipped onto the cover of your book or placed on a desk or table and used as a portable lamp.

The light is very compact and can easily be put in a purse or pocket. It requires two CR2032 batteries, which are included. When not in use, the light folds flat for easy storage.

This light is very bright. In fact, that's the only problem I have with it. It is bright enough to create somewhat of a glare when it is shining down on the page that I am reading. My eyes are sensitive, and it actually is a little strong for me to read comfortably. I do intend to use it, because it really is a nice light, but since it does cause some glare on the page, I won't be able to use it for extended periods of time. The light does adjust to different angles, but if I adjust it so that the glare is reduced, then the page isn't illuminated enough.

The light is nice enough, it's just that the glare is a little uncomfortable for me because of my sensitive eyes. For someone else, it may not present a problem at all.
