Two Tools For The Price Of One. By godfrey884 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
We have only one little tree on our property, so I thought we weren't going to have a big problem with our yard being covered in leaves in the fall. Well was I wrong, our yard collected the leaves from everyone else trees.
So my husband went out to get a leaf blower, he came back home with a 16 gallon Shop Vac, And I thought to myself I know I'm not the smartest person when it comes to yard work, but I am smart enough to know that a shop vac is NOT a leaf blower.
Then when he took it out of the box, he showed me that the motor of the shop vac can be lifted off the vac and put a hose onto it and it's a leaf blower, Well that impressed me, like I said not the smartest person when it comes to garden and yard work. Therefore doesn't take much to impress me either.
Now this little blower did the trick it is 6.5 HP, 365 CFM air flow, 12 amps with an 8 foot cord, mind you a extension cord is needed, but for the price to get a leaf blower and a wet and dry shop vac, it's a pretty good deal, and it has help up with the blowing of the leaves and dirt to help keep our yard clean.
Shop Vac 9311711 Purchased at: Lowes Price: $99.00

We have this. I love it too! Great two in one machine!
I love this, have never seen this before. What a great idea. See it doesn't take much to impress me either LOL!
Wow-who would have thought that a Shop Vac was such a multi tasker!!! That's pretty ingenious-I'm giving your husband credit on this!!
My husband woudl lvoe this, he has been asking for both of the things that this one tool is.
Good deal there, one for 2 deal. Thanks for sharing your experience and the product.
But you have to lug the body of the vac around the yard with you, right?
What a great idea, i would of never thought thats what it was used for..
