My daughters are big fans of Webkinz so when they heard about Ty Girlz they just had to have them. We 1st sampled the Ty Girlz website which was super fun...so we headed out to the store to buy them...Personally as a mother I think the Ty Girlz are a little "fancy"....they all have their belly buttons hanging out and wear clothes I would not think is appropriate for the children they are geared towards...so I had my daughters pick out the ones that were wearing the most clothes. Once they got them home the dolls were basically discarded once they got the codes and entered them into the computer. While the site has some cute stuff there is so little to do.... unlike Webkinz website which can keep my girls busy for hourse they tire of Ty girlz pretty quickly. I think the dolls are constructed well although the clothes and hair are a bit much....and really my girls weren't looking to play with the doll they just wanted access to the website....maybe once they sell more dolls they will hopefully increase the activities on the website...so in all this is an okay product but buy a webkinz if you are looking for some real "wholesome" entertainment.
