By chesneychic onMy daughters love playing on the computer so as soon as I saw the ty girlz at the store I knew they would love them.The dolls are plush and are dressed very cute with short skirts and high heel sandals they even have earrings, bracelets and belly button rings.They have long hair for your child to style and some of them even have highlights that are pink or purple.One of the things I love is each doll is different and has their own unique style.You can also buy additional outfits for your doll. These dolls are also made by the same company that created the beanie babies.
Each doll comes with a tag on that you scratch off to reveal a secret code to give you access to the ty website and your interactive dol. You get to give your doll makeovers which include picking hair color and style to makeover and even fingernail polish color and accessories.You also get to design your doll a room and pick out furniture and accessories for it.
You play games to earn TY dollars that you can use to go shopping with to buy your doll new clothes and accessories.One of my daughters favorite game to play is what is in the handbag it is basically deal or no deal but instead of cases you choose purse and you even get offers from the banker.The games are a little more challenging which has been great for my girls as they get older and start outgrowing their old favorite webkinz.
Adorable! I wish they had fun things like this when I was growing up!! I like the fact that there is a secret code to scratch off & that you can earn money to buy clothes & accessories for the dolls!!!!! Hours of fun for little girls!!
I don't have a young daughter anymore, but I've seen these dolls in Hallmark. Cool idea!
I haven't seen these yet, but then my son tends to steer me toward the power rangers, legos, and transformers :0)
When my kids were young enough, they loved the Ty Beanie Babies. That toy proved to become somewhat of a phenomenon. It sounds like Ty is doing a good job of keeping up with the times.
I'm not sure I like the idea of belly button rings and short shorts in a doll for young girls. The idea of earning/managing money to purchase things is intriguing though and could teach some financial lessons.

I really love these online interactive toys. It gives the kids time on the computer to learn without really knowing that they are learning.
