Tyleno Arthritis Pain Caplets By Gayle Parks on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I have moderate arthritis pain most of the time. I usually use a pain reliever containing Naproxen but it tends to upset my stomach so when Tylenol came out with the new Arthritis Pain formula I tried it. I was not all that impressed. Each caplet contains 650mg of Acetaminophen which is 150 more per caplet than regular Tylenol. You take two caplets and it is supposed to provide relief for up to 8 hours. So, you can only take 2 caplets , roughly, once a day. I found that it did not help my pain any better than regular Tylenol did and not for as long as the Naproxen did. It is also more expensive than the Naproxen. I do know some people who swear by it and never take anything else but it just did not help me all that much. I went back to the Naproxen and just deal with the stomach upset. Not sure Tylenol Arthritis Pain is any better than regular Tylenol.
