Type O Negative World Coming Down By Nicholas Harrell on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With this Type O cd, they go in a darker more serious direction. Type O has always been known as a kinda joke goth band, but with a serious album about death and losing a loved one, you can really dig into this album. This is actually the album that got me into TON. I heard the track White Slavery while working at a retail store, and decided to pick the cd up. I was blown away by the soothing guitars, well played keyboards, and Peter Steele's manly voice. Each song you can feel the sorrow he sings about, from drug abuse to looking your family. It really pulls you in and won't let go until you are done. And at the end there is a Beatles medley of songs covered by TON as well. If you are into the goth scene, or wanting to check some of it out, try this album out. It might just carry you right into them.
