U2 by U2 is a must read for any serious U2 fans. This is the ultimate history of the band. The book is structured in chronoligical order and is mostly interviews by memebers of the band as well as close people to the band. It read almost as a first person narrative.

The book give the reader theh istory of all the members of U2 and starts out with their childhood. It is very interesting to read first persona ccounts of what life was like growing up and how the band got together.

The book then goes through their entire career, up until the present. It offers unique insight into what makes each member tick and how they became such a successful band.

Throughout the book are loads of pictures taken throughout the year. The pictures match the content and are placed in the time frame you are reading about. These great pictures add a lot to the book.

The book is very long and contains a lot of information. It is a fascinating read for any serious U2 fan.
