I was very skeptical of this product. I couldn't imagine wearing a shoe without socks in the middle of a very cold northeast winter. Fortunatly, I received these boots as a gift.

They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I feel like I am leaving my house in my slippers. I have worn them in extreme temperatures and my feet are the warmest point on my body.

I received the classic short which come to just around your shin. I would not have liked them any shorter since I can tuck my pant leg into the boot. They are supposed to be water proof and so far, they have held up very well in both rain and snow. Being that they are worn without socks, my first worry would be smell. I have owned them for over 6 months, wearing them very often and notice no smell.

As far as appearance, I would say they are not the most attractive shoe but comfort out weighs looks with this shoe. A must if you live in a colder climate.
