Ultimate Turkish Towels

I thought I had used good towels before, but these towels are truly luxurious. I bought bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. I purchased mine in the store, but there is a wider range of colors online. The colors are actually arranged in color collections. The collections contain four variations of the same color. For example, the collection from which I made my selection was the Lavendar Collection. This one contains Eggplant (darkest), Plum (a bit lighter), Thistle (next to lightest), and Lavendar (lightest). The towels are soft and plush. The description shows that the towels contain "802 grams per square meter" which I guess means something similar to thread count in sheets. The towels are well made as I have washed mine several times with no loss of color, no fraying of the edges, and continued plushness. My only complaint about the set that I bought has to do with the washcloth. It's a bit too thick for my tastes as a face washcloth. The cloth soaks up and holds the water too well. This negative for me in the washcloth is a huge positive with the hand towel and the bath towel. The water soaks in and is held. No drips if you use these towels. While the cost was a lot more than I would normally have paid, the quality means that I should not have to purchase towels for a long time.
