I love using Downy as an additive to my laundry washing. It has a lovely fresh scent (I use April Fresh usually), it only takes a little to do a lot, and it really does seem to leave my laundry smelling fresh and with less static cling after drying. The only thing that is difficult about using this product is that it is supposed to be added after the initial wash phase or during the final rinse cycle. That can be a little tricky unless you are watching your laundry machine the whole time or if you use the Downy Ball.

When used correctly, it doesn't leave any marks on the laundry (spotting), it will smell fresh after the washing is over, and it will dry out completely in the dryer. If you have sensitive skin, this might effect you by givning rashes or such but I have very sensitive skin and I've never had this problem. It is safe for all washing machines and fabrics, but there is a warning on the back that states it could reduce the flame resistance of materials that are labled as flame resistant or retardant

The newer version of Downy has "renewing scent pearls" and although you can't see them, you know they are there! They do help to make your clothes smell fresher longer after the wash and dry. I definitely recommend this product!
