Ultra Gain Fabric Softener By Clairdelune Na on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Have you seen a fabric softener commercial lately? Have you noticed that everyone on those commercials seem to like so much the scent of their fabric softener. I have tried many brands in the past and I didn't prefer one brand from another. The scent wasn't THAT great.
About three months ago, there was a sale at the grocery store and I decided to try the Lavender lilac moment scent from Ultra Gain which is made by Procter and Gamble. It smells VERY good and when I get my laundry out of the dryer, it still smells good. With the other brands I tried, the scent didn't last once the clothes and towels were dry.
The bottle I purchased is a 1.33L (44 FL OZ) container and it is good for about 52 loads. I probably make more than 52 loads because I use less liquid than it's supposed to and it does the job. The fabric softener contains biodegradable fabric softening agents which is good for the environment. The Ultra Gain container is also recyclable. It is HE compatible which is great since we have bought recently a front loading washing machine.
There is a warning on the bottle. It says to not use the fabric softener on children's sleepwear or garments labeled as flame resistant as it may reduce flame resistance. Do not use also on garments made with fluffier fabrics containing cotton as it may increase the flammability of these fabrics.
I don't think I will ever switch to another fabric softener as I really like the Ultra Gain fabric softener.

I was wondering if the scent actually lasts, has any strangers come up to you to smell how good your clothes smell yet like in the commercial! lol, i like the one with the guys watching a sporting game, makes me laugh everytime! I will definately have to try this, thanks for reviewing it!
Well, it definitely last longer than the brands I used before. I have noticed that the scent last longer depending on the fabric. The blouse I washed last week still smells a little bit, but my towels smell a lot more.
I'm hoping this comes in dryer sheets and will check that out when I go shopping this week.
Unfortunately, I don't think they come in dryer sheets.
