Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Uncharted is just a beautifully done game. The background scenes and character interaction with his environment is amazing. You play as Nathan Drake who is following clues left by Sir Francis Drake to find the lost treasure of El Dorado. The action keeps you on your toes throughout the entire game and there are on-screen clues to help you if you get stuck. the character is kind of a tomb-raiding, Indiana Jones type character, so there is lots of climbing, fighting, and puzzle solving. He also has plenty of wisecracks in every situation and the script doesn't feel rehearsed or anything. He has his sidekick Sully and his love interest Elena to help him along and the interactions among the three are excellent. The only knock I have on the game is the seemingly endless supply of bad guys you have to engage in gunfights. At one point in the game, he actually asks where all these guys are coming from and you have to ask yourself the same question. Awesome sound, awesome graphics, challenging puzzles, and great action make this game a must-have for everyone!!
