Undissolvable All Free And Clear Powder Detergent By circusmama on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Having a daughter with extremely sensitive skin, I have to use detergent without any additional scents added. All works well for sensitive skin. I generally use the liquid form, but decided recently to try the powdered form because it handled 40 loads, while the liquid handled 32 at the same price.

I will not get the powdered form ever again. I've used powdered detergents in my washer before without any problem, but this one did not dissolve in my washing machine. My drain was clogged constantly with big white chunks of detergent. The extra eight loads was not worth the constant work of cleaning out the drain.

The cleaning power was decent. It gets most things out except heavy body odor. So if you sweat a lot, this is not the detergent for you.

I would not recommend the powdered form of this detergent to anyone. The liquid is a good price for what it does. If you have any heavy perspirers in your house, use something a little stronger.
