From a high priced law firm and a high paced life to life in the country as a maid? That's where Samantha Sweeting ends up after a mental breakdown. She's made such a huge mistake at work that they removed her from their website, their partnership, and their payroll. She didn't know what to do next. In a daze of 'how did I mess up?' and 'why is everyone ignoring my calls' she hops on the next train out of there.

When she gets off the train she finds herself in the middle of nowhere. Broken spirited, she knocks on this grand house to get dirrections, and find out where the heck she is, but she is in such a daze she lets herself get mistaken for the new maid service.

Awaking the next morning to have her lists of tasks. Cook breakfast? How does the oven work? How the heck do I do the laundry?!! Covered in what should be dinner, and tears the hunk of a gardner comes to her rescue. He takes her to meet his mom who teaches her how to become a domestic goddess.

She never thought she'd fall in love, let alone find the time for it. Her only problem is how does she tell the new man in her life she's really a lawyer? Especially when he has a personal vendetta against them for what happened to his father. Yikes!
