Uniden 2.4 Ghz House Phone By Aktiv8_F8 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Looking for cordless home phones can be tricky business. It is not like the days when rotary phones were in basically available in one style and two colors, white and black. Today there are many phones styles, colors features and much more. After taking a trip around to many stores, I found a phone that is not only stylist but is easy to use, minus all the confusing gadgets that people delight in but never end up using.

The phone I found is a black Uniden 2.4 GHz cordless phone. It has a small stand that can be perched on a wall or land on a flat surface. In addition, it has a built-in answering machine system that has a pre-recorded message – which means no phony re-creations of the “von Trapp” family message.

The phone is very easy to use and has a few options to choose from for ring tones and sound levels of the ring. In addition, the headset has a few different sound levels to choose from for the receiver.

My only objection to this phone is that when using Vonage, the phone sounds a lot louder than using a regular landline telephone service. We have our phone turned all the way down to the lowest level but it still sounds like everyone is screaming. For this reason, this phone is perfect for the hard of hearing.

All in all, my family loves this phone and is perfect for all ages. It is easy to use and still looks stylish.
