Uniden 5.8 Ghz Portable Phones By cookiecrisp03 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The uniden 5.8 ghz portable phone with caller id is poor product. The sound is choppy and breaks up if you are outside of your home or near a computer or TV.

I have lost quite a few calls talking on it in front of my PC. This has given me untold amounts of frustration. $24.99 is a fair price, but not if it doesn't work well.

I dropped one of the hand sets and it broke. Not the best quality. The battery does not have the longest life. It needs to be recharged often. Overall it is not high value product.

They do give you two phones and charger cradles. The caller id is fine, but nothing special. i guess you get what you pay for. Next time I will pay more to get a phone that actually works.
