Uniden Cordless Phone With 2 Handsets By halcammom on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

We purchased the Uniden 5.8GHz Cordless phone at Target for $39.99. This set came with two handsets, one we keep upstairs and one downstairs. We have Vonage VOIP (see review!) so our phone must connect to the Vonage Router. Since our Uniden phones came with a second handset, we can have 2 phones but only have to have one plugged into the phone source (Vonage or phone jack). Both phones are cordless and must be plugged into an electrical outlet to charge.

We have had our phones for about 4 months. We have yet to have a dead battery. We do charge them frequently, but our 18 month old son has misplaced a handset a time or two and it never went dead.

Both handsets are identical. They have built-in caller ID, adjustable ring and volume control, redail and memory. There is a clip on the back if you want to clip it to your pants if going outside.

The only disadvantage would be the size. Since we are all used to cell phones being so small, the cordless phones seem so big. However, it is lightweight.

I am happy with my Uniden 2 handset cordless phone. I would buy it again!
