We own the TRU9480 series uniden cordless telephones with the digital answering system. This phone system is top quality. We haven't had any problems with it at all. We have three cordless phones. All phones came with the package. I believe you can even purchase more phones for it. We have the base with a phone and two other phones with their own small bases. This digital answering system with phones has so many cool features. We have caller ID which you pay for through your telephone service. It stores the calls received and you can delete each or all at once. We like the phone to play music when it rings. This makes it a calmer atmosphere. You can select from several tunes. The manual goes on and on. You would not believe the many uses of this phone. You can use it as a monitor or intercom. You can transfer calls from one room to another. The voice clarity is absolutely spot on. You can put calls on hold.This is a 5.8 GH2 phone.Record your own greeting.Find the handset button if you lose the phone.Memo record and mute buttons. It can be set on the table or mounted on the wall.Belt clips on all phones. It can be used with different languages...just set the phone to your language. Time and day feature. Animation screen. Phonebook feature. Speed dial. Conference calls. This phone has DND which you can mute the ringer (Do Not Disturb). Privacy mode where you can set your handset so no other handset can be used...too cool. This can be used as a baby room monitor too. You can record conversations on the phone also. These are just some of the features of this system. Uniden has developed a great digital answering system with cordless phones with the option of adding more phones. #1.
