Unlimited calling for less
By uaezarb onMy husband has had a Verizon unlimited plan for several years and was paying $99.99 a month for the service.Just recently, on January 18, 2010, Verizon actually lowered the unlimited plan to $69.99 a month. The nationwide unlimited talk plan will give you unlimited talk, but if you want unlimited text, picture, and video messages, then you'll have to pay $89.99 a month for the nationwide unlimited talk & text plan.
You can also get a nationwide unlimited talk family share plan, that includes the first two lines of service for only $119.99 per month. Unlimited messaging can be added for a total of $149.99 per month.
I thought the new price would automatically go into effect for his existing plan, but he called to make sure and found that he did indeed need to call and request the new plan to get the $69.99 rate.I was surprised to find that this change did not extended his contract, as it usually does whenever you make a change to your service.
This plan has always helped us budget our phone bill by not worrying about how many minutes he uses every month and now we can save an extra $30 a month!
