Another good one I found on the bargain rack. Forget the best seller list, if you want to find something fresh and different check out the bargain racks. This book is written by an investigative reporter who interviewed 300 different nuns from over 50 different Orders across the country. She lived with them and spent days and nights observing and learning from them. I must say I have never given much thought to Nuns and was probably guilty of slipping them into a stereotypical slot. After reading this book I have a much better understanding of Nuns as regular people...women...who are as different as the rest of us. They are traditional, radical, liberal or conservative. They are timid, bold, shy, or cynical. If you have ever wondered what a Nun's life is like you should read this book. Written with seriousness and humor in just the right amounts. Check it out and see for yourself.
