Ever find yourself in a situation where you need more money that you have. Who hasnt? Well, me and my husband had our house paid off and when we were involved in a civil lawsuit we found ourselves in need of some money for lawyer/settle fees. Long story short we research all the banks that were in the area for the best rate.
US Bank offered the best rate, plus if you have a checking account with them they drop the rate by a .5% We asked the bank that my husband had been with for 10+ years if they could match the rate and they couldnt so we started banking with US Bank.
The customer service is wonderful. They have online banking with all the extras for FREE. The best part is, if you refinance with them then there is NO FEE or early payoff penalities. So, in days like the recent past when interest rates are dropped we walk right in the door and refinance. It takes us 15 mins. and we save so much.
In a world where gas cost $3+ you gotta save money where you can.
