I bought this iPod interface because if you haven't read any of my other reviews, my iPod is constantly on me. I was initially skeptical of this device since it was a bit pricy, the cost of a new head unit, and it tied in to the stock cd changer. I read countless reviews on the item before my purchase, but fact of the matter is, you don't realize how great the product is until you use and own it. The audio quality is fantastic and it does not hinder the quality of cd playback. The quirks of the product are that there really is no great way of mounting it quickly, you have to get a little creative when it comes to running the iPod cable, and if you put a cd in the changer it does not allow you to switch to the iPod while the cd is in. One very nice feature that I did not need but is nice to have is the auxilary input, I plug my laptop into it all the time while passengers are watching movies on my laptop.
