I have been banking with USAA for over ten years and can't say enough good things about them. I only listed my checking account, but also have a savings account with them. They've been there for every one of my financial needs and that kind of versatility is what I like most about them. In addition to my bank accounts, I have all three of my vehicles insured with them. I have my renter's insurance through them. I've taken out two loans from them and gotten exceptional rates both times. I'm in the process right now of buying a home. I am using them for securing my mortgage as well as homeowner's insurance. No matter what time i contact them, day or night, I always receive the most professional customer service and all my questions are answered quickly and accurately. When one of my vehicles was involved in a serious accident, they helped me with the recovery, insurance, and I had my new vehicle inside of two weeks from the time of the accident. They are located in San Antonio, so depositing checks is a little trickier. They've even made that easier by one of two methods: they provide secure envelopes to mail in checks or you can set up your home scanner and deposit it electronically. I could go on and on about all the good things about USAA. If you are a military member or related to one, look into them for competitive rates and unparalleled service. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
