I never realized just how handy a USB Flash Drive was until I saw one at Walmart. Having 3 computers in the house I was trying to figure out how to transfer all of my kids/husband's music from our upstairs computer to our new one downstairs. Looking back I could have used a bigger capacity one-as this one is 512M, but it is amazing just how much information it holds at one time. I was able to hold over 250 songs on it-bring it down stairs and download them on another computer. My husband's business folders-the same thing-just uploaded them onto this handy little drive and bring them down stairs. You wouldn't think something so small could hold so much information. These would be great to transport files from home to work-and since they don't take up any space you could label them "home" "work" "pictures" whatever you choose. It is no bigger than a lighter-so it also fits nicely right in your pocket. This one was only $14.99 at Walmart-but you can put more money into them and get ones with more space, I have seen 1GB, 2GB and on up.
