Reviewing: Ing Savings Account

I have been a member of ING for 3 years now. I love the ease of their websites and the account options they offer. I have an account there I use solely for funding our vacations. Its great because they offer direct deposit, link from a checking account or you can mail them a check to fund your account.

I use the savings account, the interest rate is now around 4%, which is better than I was getting at my brick and mortar bank. Then before I travel I move the money over to my orange checking account. Then I had that debit card to use on my travels. It has worked very well so far! The only down side is being a savings account you can only transfer money out less than 5 times a month. So think ahead if you need to move your money around!

Ing also offers Cd's, IRAs and mortgages that I haven't tried yet.

I've had an ING account for over a year now and I have been very please. I had no idea about the the limit of taking money out only 5 times a month. Thank you for that information, I better go look into that one a little more.

Using an ING account to save for vacations is a really good idea. Once I have finished paying off my last vacation I am going to have to look into this.

Great idea to keep your disney money separate :0) I kind of do this too with my paypal account....but they don't give interest so your idea is better!
