Reviewing: Parker Brothers Boggle Jr. Letters 00456
Purchased at: Target     Price: $14.99 USD

Boggle Jr. Letters is a preschool learning game for children 3-6 in age, for 1-2 players.Manufactured by Parker Brothers in the U.S.A., this game is top notch for kick starting your child to learning spelling.

Your child will learn:

*Word Association/Grouping

*Letter Matching

*Spelling

*Concentration

*Memory

*Eye/Hand Coordination

The game is built to last. The cardstock used for the 30 picture and name cards is very thick. The game unit tray is made of hard molded plastic. The timer is a simple wind and click design so you do not need batteries. The 8 letter blocks are solid form so they won't break under normal use.Caution: The letter blocks are small enough to cause choking so younger players must be supervised while using.

There are three levels of play with Boggle Jr. Letters. For beginning learners, you have level 1 where you match the letter on the block to the letter on the picture/name card.Level 2 presents a challenge because you cover the written word and your child must spell it from the picture alone. In level 3 play you utilize the timer to see how many words you can complete before time is up.

The game is almost like three games in one.You can play it as directed.Boggle Jr. Letters is also great for teaching your child letters using the letter blocks alone. You can also teach your child 3 or 4 letter sight words using the cards as flash cards.

What more could you ask for in a game.We love playing Boggle Jr. Letters everyday, sometimes a few times a day.I highly recommend this game.

This really sounds ideal! I like the various levels of play. We had a Scrabble Junior game that was really quite similar and I played it with our boys for several years before they outgrew it. Good find!
