Used well didnt need to use but bought AIG
By Timekeeper onWe bought AIG travel insurance for our upcoming trip to Florida. We both have elderly Grand Mothers and if we needed to fly home for a funeral we wanted to be covered. And we were traveling during what was still considered hurricane season. We bought it on line and found the website to be easy to navigate and helpful. We compared all the plans and settled for $10 more on the Gold plan for our family. It covered lost bags, delayed flights, the whole gamete in our minds. The total cost for 2 adults and 1 child was $86. We bought a month before our flight and there would have been some advantages if we had bought earlier, like airline strike or work schedule change that were not included in our plan. We ended up with on time flights, good health and perfect weather, so no claims on our policy. But I am a believer in better safe than sorry if you are spending over $3000 on a trip why not insure it? We will use AIG again for our future trips.

Great information. I think it points out that rarely if ever is something like this nedeed, unless of course, you don't have it.
Thanks for the information. I agree better to be safe than sorry.
