Usher Is All About His Confessions By IceQueen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I didn't actually buy this CD till the special edition came out. I am actually happy I waited becasue of all the bonus tracks and stuff that were included. From what people said Confessions was a rock solid album by a equally talented singer. I loved Usher's music, but this CD in my opinion is what gave him the huge name.

I can still remember putting the CD into the player for the first time. I heard most of the singles already, but I was still wondering what to expect. Confessions blew me out of the water right away. "Yeah!" was still an amazing track no matter how many times I listened to it. One of the tracks I wasn't familiar with was "Throwback", but I gave it a listen and while I can't call it my favorite I liked it.

Both parts of "Confessions" were great, and even better together. On the special edition of the CD they include an interlude for "Superstar" which I didn't really notice. The rest of the CD was good to me, but the only meorable track after that in my opinion was "My Boo". I will forever love that song and I can still listen to it without feeling overplayed.

I think Confessions is a great CD and they shouldn't have waited so long to release the special edition.
