We purchased the V-Smile Pocket for our son when it came out after he had learned so much from the original V-Smile game console. We liked the idea that he could use the same games and he could take it with us in the car when we were traveling. I was originally concerned about the size of the screen, but it doesn't seem to bother my son. He can see everything just fine. I highly recommend getting all the accessories you can purchase for it, they have all been invaluable. They include the rechargeable battery pack and charger, the carrying case, and the car charger. There is a seemingly endless line of games available for this system, so your little one should never get bored. We have only recently had a few problems with it shutting off when my son is playing it, but I think it is only when the batteries get low. One time we couldn't get it to turn back on, so we just took of the battery pack and put it back on and it was fine.
