V Tech Dora Interactive Phone

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas based upon the commercials I had seen on it and the packaging itself describing it. I had high expectations for my 4 year old daughter who loves to talk on the phone and who envies her older brother for playing video games, I thought for sure this would be a hit. I plugged it easily into our television and she was anxiously ready to play. At first I was disappointed by the graphics, they are very dated and in my oppinion need to be improved. I thought it was very cool how the phone rang to start the game and my very excited 4 year old daughter picked it up ready to play. I then watched my daughter get very frustrated because the games and instructions from Dora were just way to difficult for her and made for an older child. My 6 year old son had to take over and once again my daughter was defeated because she couldn't do a video game properly. I am sad to report that they really need to adapt this product because the kids this age who would want this product can't play games this difficult, it is really a shame and has potential if that was changed.
