Valspar I Nterior Paint By Cukal6 By cukal6 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When we bought our old farmhouse 5 years ago, I knew that I wanted to paint the walls cream. I also knew that we were planning on having more children and I needed something that was easily washable. The paint guy at Lowe's recommended the Valspar brand. I agreed until I saw the price. Who pays $30/gallon for paint? Especially when you're painting over 3000 square feet? Luckily, I listened to him and my husband and went for it. I am so glad I did. This paint is wonderful. It went on very easily and didn't drip like most paints I've used. The smell is a little strong but it doesn't last too long.

It also cleans very easily. Even after our house fire last year, there was only one little spot where the smoke didn't wash off and that was where the smoke was the heaviest. Every place else looked brand new after wiping it with a wet sponge.

This paint is definitely worth the money.

I agree wtih Grapevine-especially when it comes to paint, I think the expensive ones tend to be better than the inexpensive ones!

We love Valspar. Our entire home is painted with it, and, honestly, my husband won't even look at anything else. thanks.
