Valspar Latex Based House and Trim Primer

This primer bought to use on the railings of a large deck. The Valspar primer has a very good coverage. It also dries very fast. I really liked the fact that it was paintable in two hours instead of the normal twenty-four hour cure you expect from most latex paint products. The quick curing time allows you to prime in the morning before the heat sets in and gives you time to come back and finish with the last paint coat in one day. The primer is of a low V.O.C. type, "volatile organic compounds" (VOC's) are emitted gases from certain solids or liquids. This primer leaves a good flat even base for painting on new woodwork. I would highly recommend the Valspar Latex Based House and Trim Primer. I would have to say it is one of the best priming products I have used. I will use this product again in the very near future. The price is slightly more than the store or "off" brands but it is worth the difference in my opinion. The time and work saved by not having to double coat the entire project is worth the small extra cost. Considering all its good points and the fact that it is also mildew resistant, has made me a Valspar user hence forth.
