Food handling is required at my job, so I must wash my hands constantly. I searched around the shelves at Walmart for a good hand lotion, and found Vaseline Healthy Hand & Nail, and thought I'd give it a go. Since I've been having issues with dry, peeling nails as well, the part about making nails 10 times stronger was a big deciding factor for me.

When I picked up this lotion, the first thing I did was smell it. It has a nice, neutral fresh scent like most Vaseline lotions I've used have. Then I checked the ingredients. It contains both mineral oil and alcohol, which put me off slightly at first, but since it was only $4 I decided to try it anyway. As soon as I left the store I tried it out. It is slightly thin in consistency, so it sinks in fast. I thought it would have been greasy due to the mineral oil, but it really isn't. My hands felt better almost immediately, and after a couple of weeks of use with multiple uses a day, I really DID notice a difference. My hands were much softer and the flaky dryness was gone. On top of that, it kept my nails nicely moisturized...and while they were still pretty thin, my peeling issue and hangnails had nearly gone away.

I have been using this lotion now for about six months and I highly recommend it. If you're looking for a good hand lotion at a low price go for this one!
