Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

One cold winter, my hands had turned dry and red. Regular hand lotions were not helping much, so I opted for something stronger - Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion that was said to "heal severely dry skin." The word "severely" was underlined. Good, I thought. Just what I need.

The lotion is fragrance free and non-greasy. There is some oily feel at first, like with any lotion, but it quickly goes away as you rub the lotion in. My dry skin soaked it up and became noticeably better right away - much softer, and the painful sensation was gone. Within three days my hands were completely back to normal. What a great product. Simple, nothing fancy, but it works.

The lotion is hypoallergenic, the formula is said to be "ideal for sensitive skin." The active ingredient is Dimethicone. It also contains Vitamin E and Vaseline Petroleun Jelly.

Vasaline is one of the oldest manufacturers of hand lotion. I however think it leaves my hands a little creasy. Thanks for the revie. I have not used in a while I may give it a try again.
