Last month we visited Veegaland amusement park. It is located in an unruffled and peaceful little town Pallikkara, 14 kms from Ernakulam. It was during Christmas vacation and the place was full. Nonetheless we enjoyed the whole day.

The park is created on top a small hill, so that you have a terrific view from all sides of the park. It is beautifully landscaped and even with people all over the place you won't feel the crowdedness.

There are over 55 rides and about 20 of them are water based. It caters to all age groups. There are rides specifically for small children and there are rides which are more adventurous. Not only that there is musical fountain, wave pool, dance floor and so many other attractions. If there are old people with you, there are many rest places where they can sit and relax. Altogether a very good place to unwind yourself.
