Veet Waxing---Ouch!

Veet Wax Strips
Whenever I see or hear about Veet, I think OUCH! I tried these one time and one time only!
The wax strips are all ready to go and are supposed to remove hair and moisturize at the same time. The Veet wax strips claim to remove hair as short as 2mm. The results are supposed to last, per the box, for as long as four weeks.
I never received any of these results! My hair was longer than 2mm and the wax strips barely removed any hair at all. When I personally used these they took off the top layer of my skin and that hurt so bad. I would have rather gone through childbirth again! I did not feel the soft, silky after effects on my skin as promised.
Overall I was not pleased with Veet at all and will stick to regular shaving with a razor.

Thanks for the warning. I've considered this, but thought it would hurt. I tried Nads (what a name; my nephews had a bunch of laughs on that one!) and all it did was make a mess. I think I'll stick to shaving! Nice detail here!
You know, after hearing so many horror tales about these hair removal products, I'll pass. Unless I can afford laser hair removal, I'll stick to shaving.
I've never had an at home wax actually work. Guess I'll add Veet to the list of product names.
I tried waxing once . I think I will stick with a razor . :)
Ouch. I'll stick to the old fashioned razor :0)
Thanks so much for the warning - no veet for me!
Ouch! I won't be giving this a try. I will stick with a razor
Waxing in general doesn't sound fun. But adding insult to injury!
It does not seem very kind to the skin to have it ripped off like that. Thanks for the info.
Sorry to hear that Veet does not work as claimed, thanks for sharing all those info with us.
