Veet ready to use wax strips are great.
I love them because they are, ready to use. You simply rub the two strips between your hands, pull them apart, and place them on the hair you want removed. You don't have to mess around with tubs of wax, fabric strips, and applicators that resemble a tongue depressor.
The wax strips are designed to be used with hair as short as 2mm so you don't have to grow out your leg hairs for very long before you can use the strips.
I recently went to Cancun and I didn't want to have to shave while I was there. I used veet strips the day before leaving and spent a week in Cancun without worrying about shaving. That is an amazing feeling.
The strips say that the hair free new you will last for four weeks. This may be the case with perfect application, but I have found that they usually last me about two weeks before I need to start shaving again.
One thing I love about this Veet kit is that it comes with a desensitizing spray that you use prior to using the strips. It really works!

I am a big ol' chicken when it comes to pain but this sounds bearable AND it also works!
I've been so disappointed in most of the products out there. They leave your skin raw and don't remove my coarse hair effectively. I will have to give this product a try.
