The Gillette Venus shaver for women does a great job. Eventhough it is expensive compared to disposables and the replacement blades are also expensive one blade lasts so long that the price becomes a non-issue. Even if you shave everyday one blade would easily last a month or more. The blade stays sharp and provides a smooth effortless shave use after use with nothing more than a good rinse. The molded shape makes it easy to hold and the soft rubber grips make it easy to hold onto in the shower or bath when your hands are wet and soapy. It is lite as a feather too so it requires very little effort to glide over your skin. This is important, especially if you have any kind of pain in your wrists or fingers. It works equally well on the under arm area. I have tried lots of other brands of women's shavers but this one beats them all.
I am still using this razor and will never buy a different brand. Yes, as I stated before the refills are expensive but you have to buy them so infrequently that they are well worth the price. Last Christmas I bought all the women on my list a Venus razor. They were all thrilled. If you haven't tried it yet, get out there and buy one. You won't regret it.
